It is so hard to be far away especially in times like these.
I want you to know how much we love you and how grateful I am to be part of such a tremendous family.
You are such a strong person. When I talk and listen to you, I draw from your strength everyday.
You are an amazing mother, grandmother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend.

Oh Lester! I am sitting here at work, kind of falling apart. I don't think I have yet had a good cry for you and this nasty cancer. I have been overly foucused on getting things done...I guess that is how I deal with it..you saw that is how I have been dealing with my dad's cancer too. Just stay busy and it seems less harsh, but today sitting alone in your office, I miss you. I miss boring you with all of my stories about my babies and Rick and everything else that I canstantly jabber about. I wish i was doing more for you and your family. Ever since I moved here you have been my other mom and my babies other grandma and I love you soo dearly!! I feel like you are always doing things for me, but I so seldom return the favor. I hope you know how much I love you and am missing you.
